Our itinerary for you

1. Pickup + SPA treatment – Pedras do Mar ThalissiSPA (2h30m)

Right at the start of this experience enjoy a natural treatment of relaxation and well-being, at ThalissiSPA they choose only safe bio products, not tested on animals to enhance your moment of unwinding. We allow you 2h30 at their facilites in Pedras do Mar Resort Hotel, plenty enough to enjoy their SPA experiences, pools and sauna.

ThalissiSPA Pedras do Mar claims the “SPA Signature Volcanic Stones” as their special offer for our visitors, a hot stones massage with authentic volcanic rocks from the nearby coastline.
2. Sight Stop – Vista do Rei viewpoint Sete Cidades (0h15m)

After having been released from the loads of stress and stiffness carried, we’ll be driving through the beautiful sceneries of Sete Cidades on our way to Mosteiros.

Enjoy a quick sight stop for the green and blue lake of “Lagoa das Sete Cidades”, a true sight for a king from the King’s View viewpoint where many stories can be heard about the caldera throughout its many millennia of existence.
3. Photo Opportunity – Blue lagoon peninsula Sete Cidades (0h30m)

Down the caldera we’ll proceed through the Hydrangeas Road, where during the summer months a huge arrangement of these flower heads spread through both sides of the path to the inside of the Sete Cidades crater.

Appreciate from up close the vastness of the biggest water body on the Azores from the peninsula area, great opportunity for very unique photos by the blue lagoon.
4. Sight Stop – Escalvado viewpoint (0h15m)

Observe from up high the southwestern coastline and our next destination: Mosteiros. A village located on a lava delta isolated from the rest of the island, the tranquility and authenticity reign along its dark coast.
5. Local Food Dinner (1h15m)

After descending into Mosteiros you’ll indulge your taste buds with local flavors and drinks, a dinner by the sea with authentic recipes from São Miguel.
6. Sunset Praise – Alone time at your selected location: Beach or Dark coast (1h00)

We’ll show you the most iconic locations around Mosteiros and walk you through them and then let you choose where you prefer to watch the sunset. At the beach, by the dark coast or at a terrace, the choice is yours and you can’t go wrong either way.

7. Drive-by + Drop-off – Southwestern coast (0h45m)

After night falls and you’ve enjoyed your last moments of unwinding we’ll slowly return back to your accommodation, with one last sweet surprise for you.

Pickup Instructions

Pickup at your accommodation or meet at a defined meeting point between 14:15 – 14:30 (2:15pm – 2:30pm). Please be ready to leave at 14:30 (2:30pm), any delays may compromise the overall experience.

Drop-off at the same location between 23:15 – 23:30 (11:15pm – 11:30pm).

Accommodation pickups and drop-off’s at Ponta Delgada, Lagoa and Ribeira Grande are included.

Meeting points are at “Estátua do Emigrante” or “Portas da Cidade” in Ponta Delgada or near the “Continente” supermarket in Lagoa or Ribeira Grande. We’ll define your chosen meeting point when we reach out to confirm booking details.
